Spraying

Our body shop is fully equipped for spray painting and body repairs.
Once your vehicle has been through an extensive bodywork repair it is time to deal with the paint job. We then apply layers of colour and a topcoat lacquer before drying it, giving the perfect finish.

Car Servicing

Car Servicing

A regular car service is important, and is not something you should overlook. Many vehicle owners still take their cars to dealerships but European legislation states that you can have a car service at an independent garage without invalidating your warranty. While that is the case, all service garages must keep to the manufacturer's schedule and only use equal quality car parts.

Routine maintenance to the manufacturer specification is essential for prolonging the life of your engine. At Caterham Autos we specialise in servicing vehicles exactly as they should be, while giving you much-needed peace of mind in terms of any warranty claims.

Welding is one of the most effective ways to make automotive repairs, particularly on older vehicles.

The process of welding involves sculpting materials using heat in order to fuse or join them together. Welding is the most efficient way to join components together permanently and is a safe way to undertake automotive repairs.

Welding is an effective solution to severe rust and corrosion, which could pose a threat to the structural integrity of your vehicle or near to prescribed areas such as seat belts, suspension and steering components which may require welding in order to pass the MOT test.

Here at Caterham Autos we have all the necessary equipment to undertake high quality vehicle repair work using welding equipment. Simply get in touch to make an appointment or get a quote.

Diagnostics

When a warning light appears on your dashboard, a diagnostic check can help to identify what the issue is before any serious damage happens.

Vehicles today contain an on-board computer called an Engine Control Unit or ECU which monitors the cars performance. When attached to a diagnostics computer, sensors within the vehicle report to the ECU when there are problems, which then generates an error code.

There are hundreds of potential error codes which can only be read by specialist equipment.

We are proud to have the very highest quality of diagnostic equipment and ensure that the checks done on your vehicle are accurate and enable swift diagnosis and repair.

We can investigate all diagnostic issues including:

  • Engine management
  • Airbags/SRS
  • ABS/ESP/BAS/PSM
  • Air suspension
  • Battery Warning
